Stripping Floors in Olcott

We told you we would blog a bit more about Rita & Chris's new project, so here you have it. The very first undertaking on literally the day of the move was stripping and refinishing all the wood floors on the first floor (about 1,800 square feet worth!). Believe it or not, each room (dining, living, family, foyer) were all a different color with varying levels of old and new stain and polyerethane. A previous owner must of tried to refinish one room at a time. It took some extra work and man hours to undo the damage and unevenness - about four days total. They are now natural, enviromentally friendly (no stain or poly. was used - instead a new more earth and lung friendly product was used), and absolutely pristine. Here are some "DURING" shots.
